A Few Finishing Touches

Last night we were paid early so we had a little fun tonight adding some finishing touches. Here are some pictures.

This was Melissa's 'Brain Baby'. I was really wanting a water element by our door- it's very feng shui. We just LOVE looking at it. We know it's in a very precarious place so, please if you come to visit be wary of it :D

This is a water hyacinth. It is supposed to bloom purple flowers. It is a tropical pond plant so we have to make sure it gets a lot of sun. Our beta, which we named Beto (which is one of Theron's favorite Spanish names) loves it! He's been swimming around like crazy.Up-close of Beto enjoying his water plant.
This plant is just lovely and this picture doesn't do it justice. I didn't like it at first because it was SUPER tangled. But Theron made us buy it and when we got home I spent the next two hours untangling it! And as I was untangling it I was realizing how beautiful it is. It's petals are slightly heart shaped with two shades of green on the front, while it's back side is a gray plum. And it looks like it blooms little purple flowers. I'm excited to see what they look like.
We couldn't get our rug cleaned at ANY dry cleaners unless we wanted to pay a fortune. One of the ladies we spoke to says she uses a grocery store rug cleaner on her rugs. So we went to Smith's, picked up this stupid thing, brought it home, and it didn't work. Anyway, we eventually got it clean. It's a good color and space filler in the room.
Another rug pic.
Remember the pic space above the T.V.? We've decided to buy a nice piece of art for it while we're at Epcot.
We have also been talking about recycling forever without much success. So we decided to be proactive and buy a recycling bin. The picture on top are things that we can and cannot recycle.
We also thought that we needed good water bottles that will last a long time so we can stop buying plastic and start remembering to drink water.
We're just that great!
