Our Newest Development (and it's still developing)

I imagine you all know now (anyone who keeps up with our blog at least) that Theron and I are (finally) expecting! Yes, I'm talking about a baby!! It's been a few years in the process. We had decided to let nature take it's course and nature decided to take about three years but I don't think it could have worked out better. Those three years really helped is solidify our relationship, marriage, and how we wanted to raise our family. I've become more comfortable with who I am and what I want to continue being than ever before. We've grown in love and patience together more than ever before. And we were able to play together as big kids with hardly any responsibility before we started raising our own kids. We are feeling so blessed to be able to bring this little child and beautiful spirit into our home.

We had our first ultrasound on August 10th. Since my cycles are irregular we didn't know when baby was due. From our ultrasound we determined that we most likely conceived on one of our 4th of July camping trips and that I was 6 weeks 5 days along (7 weeks today). EDD March 31, 2011 and hoping that the child decides not to arrive on April fools. We heard the heart beat going at 150 BMP and got to see our little "blueberry" which is only about 1/4" big! We do have names picked out, two girls and one boy, but we are keeping them quiet for now so we don't tire of them before the baby comes and because we'll probably wait to see what he/she looks like before we place the name.

We'll be keeping you up to date the best we can. In the mean time enjoy baby's first pictures (even though it just looks like a little white splotch).
