Black thumb, green thumb

Remember how a month back we tried out our green thumbs? Those didn't pan out too well. Our flowers were beautiful for a week and then they died. So, we did the only thing we could...leave them there and pretend to ignore them because we couldn't afford to re-plant them. Then, while we were on our vacation a wonderful and beautiful surprise was waiting for us when we got back home; new flowers!! Mom Wiese very generously (with Dad Wiese's help with funding) re-planted some very pretty flowers. She taught us a little lessons in 'Green Thumbs 101' so that hopefully we can keep them alive longer! She said the main problem was probably that they weren't getting enough water, it was all leaking through their planters. So we water them a lot more often now and put a little retainer under the planters so the water doesn't leak everywhere (including our neighbor's below us balcony). Here are some pictures :)
