So much has happened in the past two days you wouldn't believe! But I'll tell you anyway.
Early Monday morning we had a second ultrasound to try and determine the sex of this baby. Once again the technician said everything looked beautiful. It's legs were over its head and it was grasping onto its feet. So fun to watch it move around in there like a little human being (which, I suppose, it is). After much deliberation as to whether she would make a prediction for us or not the technician said she thought, with 90% certainty, our baby is a girl! At least we saw no distinct male parts. If it comes out a boy he will be wearing pink for the first few weeks of his life (that will make for great pictures to show the future girlfriends in the future).
After that I dropped Theron off at work and 30 minutes later he called me to pick him up again. Theron was let go from his job because his bosses are dick heads and apparently think it's an awesome idea to fire someone right before the holidays as well as expecting their first child. The only reason we were staying in UT was because of the great insurance we were going to have for the birth of our child. Now that it's gone we've decided to move to Colorado so we can establish residency so Theron can start school there the beginning of 2012. We'll be staying with my parents until we find jobs and a place to live in the meantime. We are very blessed with such amazing parents on BOTH sides I don't know how we would have done this without them.
So, the next time I post we'll be in CO. We already have half our house packed and we will be out of UT as of Monday morning. Our house will be empty as of Saturday afternoon! It is a whirlwind of a week and I sometimes still can't believe it. I woke up yesterday morning thinking "Theron's going to be late for work! Oh wait, we're moving to CO!!!" It's strange.
Here's wishing you all a very happy, safe and healthy holiday season!
